Did Bollywood star Salman Khan really walk out of Karan Johar’s action film ‘The Bull’? As per reports, the Bollywood Bhai refused to work in the film of the famous Indian filmmaker.
Originally set to begin production last year in November, the film’s start date was pushed back several times, eventually landing in May after prolonged discussions and now reports have surfaced that Salman Khan has pulled himself out of the project.
According to the Indian media, the actor has refused to work in Karan Johar’s film due to repeated pushback of the film’s date.
Karan Johar and the movie’s director Vishnu Vardhan have already extended the shooting date of ‘The Bull’ three times, Salman Khan respected the decision to advance the date each time, but even this time when Karan Johar canceled the shooting. When the relevant date was not announced, the actor decided to walk out.
The report cited a bystander who shared, “Bhai said, ‘Destiny doesn’t want this film to happen, so let’s move on.’ Karan is exploring newer ideas for a collaboration with Salman.” A source close to Karan Johar said that the actor had informed the filmmaker about his decision not to work in his film.
The buzz around the duo teaming up for Bull had dominated 2023’s entertainment headlines. This would have marked a much-anticipated comeback for the pair after 25 years, under the direction of Vishnuvardhan, however, destiny indeed has something else for them.
On the work front, Salman Khan’s next movie is with Sajid Nadiadwala which will be directed by AR Murugadoss. The superstar will soon be seen collaborating with them for his next. Slated to be released in 2025.
