DG Rangers review law and order in Karachi
KARACHI: A high-level meeting was chaired by Sindh Rangers DG Major Gen Umar Ahmad Bukharion Tuesday in Rangers Headquarters, Karachi to overview the law and order situation in the province.
According to a spokesman for Sindh Rangers, the meeting was attended by Sindh Additional IG, Additional IG CTD, police and rangers high-officials.
The spokesman further said in the gathering, the security situation in Sindh province was overviewed in detail to ensure the law and order.
Rangers’ spokesman said in the meeting that a strategy has been formulated to improve coordination among the law enforcement agencies to counter terror attacks, street crimes during the holy month of Ramazan.
It was also contemplated over in the meeting to enhance extraordinary security by making protective measures and controlling law and order situation effectively to curb street crimes in the metropolis.
It was decided to ensure the prevailing laws and code of conduct as much as possible in the light of orders issued by the provincial government.
On this occasion, the people were appealed to abide by the prevailing laws and code of conduct to maintain law and order in the province.
