The details of the Chief Organizer of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz, Maryam Nawaz Sharif’s foreign trips from 2022 to 2023 have been revealed.
According to the disclosed information, she undertook tours to 17 countries during this one year.
According to details submitted with the nomination papers submitted for Lahore’s constituency 119, Maryam Nawaz incurred expenditures of Rs. 7,422,271 on foreign trips. She stayed in Switzerland from November 13, 2022, to November 30, 2022, spending Rs. 53,550 during an 18-day stay.
Maryam Nawaz also undertook four trips to the United Kingdom, staying there for a total of 96 days and incurring expenses of Rs. 2,250,000 in that duration.
In Saudi Arabia, Maryam Nawaz embarked on two trips, staying for 32 days. During her stays in Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates, she spent more than Rs. 2,488,000.
Regarding her assets, Maryam Nawaz provided details while submitting her nomination papers.
According to the information, she owes more than Rs. 289 million to her brother Hassan Nawaz. She declared properties exceeding Rs. 842,584,000 in various locations in Lahore, including over 1500 acres of land.
During the one-year period, Maryam Nawaz showed an increase of more than Rs. 400,000 in her assets. According to the details collected by the Election Commission, Maryam Nawaz does not own a car. The Senior Vice President of the Muslim League-N disclosed ownership of gold worth Rs. 1,750,000 and has over Rs. 100 million in various bank accounts and cash.
Maryam Nawaz declared ownership of shares in various companies amounting to Rs. 1,220,000 and paid an amount of Rs. 200,000 for the party ticket in her nomination papers. In her educational qualifications, Maryam Nawaz Sharif stated an M.A. in English Literature.
