ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan will chair the National Coordination Committee (NCC) meeting today over the ongoing epidemic coronavirus.
This the second time, when the NCC meeting will be held in a month. In this regard, all four chief ministers will participate in the meeting through the video conference.
The meeting has been called in a month only over the increasing numbers of confirmed COVID-19 cases in the country because the number of coronavirus disease had jumped to 458 today.
Sindh: Alone in Sindh, the government has confirmed 245 cases.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa: There are 27 confirmed cases of the coronavirus while a partial lockdown has been placed in the province.
Punjab: The number of cases increased to 80 with two new cases late on Thursday night.
Islamabad: There are four patients being treated for the disease.
Balochistan: There are 81 confirmed cases in the province.
Gilgit Baltistan and AJK: As many as 25 people tested positive for the coronavirus in the Gilgit Baltistan and Azad Jammu Kashmir.
