QUETTA: The government has planned on establishing the quarantine rooms for the pilgrims in the Hazar Ganji area to prevent coronavirus disease.
Quarantine rooms are used for imported animals with communicable disease conditions from others in the colony.
Over 3000 people will be treated at the quarantine room while their screening will also be conducted after every 48 hours.
Pakistan confirmed its fifth case of coronavirus two days ago. The latest case has been identified as a 45-year-old woman from the northern mountainous region of Gilgit Baltistan who had arrived from Iran a few days ago.
Soon after confirming the first case in Gilgit, the local government announced that it was closing all schools in the region until 7th March as a precautionary measure to prevent the disease.
