Several schools registration suspended over violating closure orders in Karachi

KARACHI: On the orders of Sindh Education Minister the authorities on Monday suspended the registration of several schools in Karachi over violating the chief minister Sindh’s orders for province-wide closure of educational institutes till March 13 to avoid an outbreak of coronavirus.
Director General (DG) Private Schools Mansoob Siddiqui along with government officials paid supervise visits to different schools in Karachi and suspended the registration of several schools found opened.
Mansoob Siddiqui visited different areas of the city, including Gulshan-e-Iqbal, Korangi, Landhi, Gulshan-e-Hadeed, Nazimabad and North Karachi areas.
He also directed the chairman board of secondary education to take stern action against all those schools found violating the orders of the provincial government.
The owners of all the schools found violating the closure orders were summoned in the office of the director’s private school to seek an explanation of their acts.
