Coronavirus death toll hits 1,309,703 worldwide

WASHINGTON: The coronavirus has affected 53,766,702 people worldwide and caused 1,309,703 deaths.

So far, more than 37.52 million patients of coronavirus have recovered and more than 14.91 million are undergoing treatment. Coronavirus has the highest number of cases and deaths in the world in the United States. In the United States, 249,975 deaths and more than 11,064,000 cases have been reported from Corona.

India ranks second in the world in terms of coronavirus cases, with 129,225 deaths and more than 87.73 million people diagnosed with the virus.

The total number of deaths from coronavirus in Brazil is one lakh 64 thousand 946 and more than 58 lakh 19 thousand people are affected.

In France, more than 1.922 million people were affected and 43,892 lost their lives. In Russia, more than 1.8 million people have been infected with the coronavirus, bringing the total death toll to 32,443.

More than 1.492 million people have been affected in Spain, while 40,769 have died. In Argentina, more than 1.296 million people were affected and 35,045 killed.

The last 10 million cases worldwide were registered in just 21 days. It took 223 days from the first case to 10 million cases. From the first case to 25 million cases, coronavirus took 284 days. The last 25 million cases were registered in just 71 days.
