The United States and India are the most affected by the virus in the world. The number of people infected with coronavirus in the United States has risen to 8,827,932 with 230,068 deaths.
India ranks second among the countries affected by the coronavirus, with more than 7,864,811 people affected and a total death toll of 118,567. Brazil is the third most affected country by the coronavirus with more than 5,381,224 patients and 156,926 deaths.
Russia is the fourth most affected country by the coronavirus, with more than 1,497,167 people infected and 25,821. Spain ranks fifth among countries infected with the coronavirus, with 34,752 deaths and more than 1,110,372 reported cases.
In Peru, more than 886,214 people have been affected and 34,095 have lost their lives. The death toll from coronavirus in South Africa has risen to 18,944 with more than 714,246 people affected. More than 886,800 people have been affected in Mexico, while the country reported 88,743 deaths.
Colombia has recorded 30,000 fatalities and 1,007,711 infections. In Chile, nearly 500,542 cases were confirmed, including more than 13,892 deaths.
Italy, which recorded its first coronavirus death at the end of February, has 37,210 fatalities, while 504,509 infections. Saudi Arabia has reported 5,281 deaths and 344,552 cases.
Meanwhile, the death toll stands 32,320 in Iran as the confirmed number of cases is almost
562,705. Germany has reported 10,111 deaths and 429,181 infections.
Turkey reported 359,784 coronavirus cases and 9,727 fatalities. China has to date declared 4,634 deaths and 5,790 cases, with 80,891 recoveries and 265 active cases of the virus.
