ISLAMABAD: At least 391 new cases of coronavirus have been reported in Pakistan while 9 more civilians have died of the virus in the last 24 hours.
According to figures released by the National Command and Operations Center (NCOC), a total of 1,279,142 people were infected with coronavirus across the country, while 28,584 civilians lost their lives to the virus.
During the last 24 hours, 38,524 tests were performed to diagnose coronavirus, bringing the total number of tests to 213,18,930. Across the country, the coronavirus test result was 1.01 percent while the number of critical cases was 1,158.
During the last 24 hours, 322 people defeated coronavirus across the country, bringing the total number of recovering people to 1,227,228. The worst affected province was Punjab were 441,631 people fell victim to the virus and 12,967 died. In Sindh, 473,052 cases of coronavirus and 7,599 deaths were reported.

In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, a total of 178,926 people fell victim to coronavirus while 5,786 died. In Balochistan, 33,383 cases of the virus and 358 deaths due to coronavirus were reported.
In Azad Kashmir, 34,501 people were infected with coronavirus and 741 died. In Gilgit-Baltistan, 10,400 cases of the virus were reported and 186 civilians lost their lives. In Islamabad, 1,07,249 cases and 947 deaths were reported.
