Sindh govt takes credit in Karachi’s improved world crime index ranking

KARACHI: Chief Minister Sindh Murad Ali Shah has invited the newly appointed Australian High Commissioner to Pakistan to invest in Thar Coal Power Project.
Murad Ali Shah while inviting the Australian companies to invest in Thar Coal Power Project said that a 660-megawatt power plant was set up with coal mining under the banner of China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).
The chief minister further said, “More plants to be established in the area to increase power generation up to 1330mw.”

He said that the project has ten coal blocks with each having an area of hundred square kilometers.
According to the chief minister house’s Sindh spokesperson, both the dignitaries exchanged views on the shortage of energy and how to tackle this issue.
