A tragic incident occurred in Rawalpindi during heavy rainfall, where a young child went missing after falling into a sewer drain.
According to reports, a six- to seven-year-old boy fell into a drainage channel near Kacha Stop on I.J.P. Road during the rain. Upon receiving the emergency call, Rescue 1122 immediately dispatched five emergency response vehicles, including ambulances, water rescue units, fire vehicles, and medical teams, to the scene and launched a search operation.
Rescue officials stated that efforts to locate the child are ongoing, while strict monitoring of the area is also being maintained.
