LAHORE: The registration of a private school has been suspended after an incident of inhumane violence against a young female student of the school in the provincial capital of Punjab.
According to the details, in a private school in Lahore, female students tortured their own classmates, the reason for which was allegedly forbidding intoxicants, DC Lahore suspended the registration of the school.
The owner and principal of the private school appeared before Deputy Commissioner Lahore Muhammad Ali for the hearing of the matter. DC Lahore heard the arguments of the parties on the recommendations of the inquiry report.
Later, DC Lahore suspended the registration of the private school till the next hearing and issued instructions to the CEO of Education to look after the affairs of the school.
The school management was directed to submit its written response on the recommendations of the inquiry report at the next hearing. The parents of the students were also given instructions for not submitting the answer.
DC Lahore also directed the parents to submit their replies in writing at the next hearing. DC Lahore instructed the CEO of Education to also issue a notice to the parents.
