KARACHI: The Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has said that the federal government would have to assist every province and provide all necessary equipment to fight against epidemic.
In a video message today on the death anniversary of former Prime Minister Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, Bilawal said Sindh government was trying its best to reduce the problems being faced by the people due to the coronavirus outbreak.
He described unity as need of the hour and said the provinces were looking towards the Centre, with a hope that the Federation will meet the needs of everyone while treating them equally.
He added in these conditions, the governments around the globe were making tough decisions. He urged the need to render untiring efforts for effective enforcement of the decisions through unity to control the outbreak of epidemic across the country.
Bilawal said several people reached Garhi Khuda Bux to pay homage to former Prime Minister Zulfikar Ali Bhutto; however, he was alone there for prayers on Saturday because of the coronavirus pandemic.
Admiring those helping others, Bilawal said the provincial government was making efforts to supply ration to the poor people. However, he said that they could not achieve the objective alone and needed support from every segment of the society.
