ISLAMABAD: Chairman Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has demanded the restoration of student unions across the country and said that we congratulate the young generation on a revival of student unions in Sindh.
According to details, the Sindh Assembly yesterday passed a bill to revive student unions by a majority vote, on which the PPP chairman congratulated the assembly members, ministers, and the Sindh government. Bilawal Bhutto said that the student union is the only way to bring youth into politics.
Chairman PPP Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said that with the revival of student unions, the youth would be able to learn politics and the method of representation. “We demand that Sindh-style student organizations be revived across the country. Students are urged to support the PPP in reviving the unions,” he maintained.
Criticizing the government of Prime Minister Imran Khan, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said that today Pakistan is being destroyed in the name of change. It is to be noted that the bill for a revival of student unions in the Sindh Assembly was passed in a meeting chaired by Speaker Agha Siraj Durrani yesterday.
In the Sindh Assembly, PPP members played an important role in getting the bill passed by a majority vote, while the bill was introduced by Sindh Minister Mukesh Kumar Chawla. The passage of the bill is being hailed as a good move by the Sindh government across Pakistan.
