WASHINGTON: Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has termed the allegation of former Prime Minister and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan regarding the US letter as a conspiracy based on lies.
According to details, Bilawal Bhutto, while giving an interview to a foreign news agency in the United States, said that in his meeting with Antony Blinken, he talked about expanding trade, especially in agriculture, IT, and energy. “We believe that Pakistan should continue to engage with the United States at all levels,” he said.
On the question of former Prime Minister Imran Khan’s allegations against the United States, Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto rejected Imran Khan’s position, calling it a conspiracy based on a big lie.

He said that the United States should move beyond the past tensions over Afghanistan, adding that after years of strained relations under Imran Khan, the two countries were now entering a new era.
The foreign minister said that under Imran Khan, Pakistan had urged the world to liaise with the Afghan Taliban government and Pakistan would continue to do so. “No matter what we think about the change of government in Afghanistan, the world cannot leave the people of Afghanistan alone. There is an urgent need to address the humanitarian crisis and the crumbling economy,” he said.
Bilawal further said that the complete deterioration of Afghanistan’s economy would be catastrophic for Afghans, Pakistan, and the international community. “Pakistan is also urging the Taliban to keep its promises, including not using Afghanistan for terrorism, not barring girls and women from education, and forming a comprehensive government,” he said.
