Bollywood’s much-anticipated horror-comedy Bhoot Bangla has finally released in cinemas, bringing together Akshay Kumar and filmmaker Priyadarshan after more than a decade.
The film blends humor with supernatural elements, aiming to recreate the duo’s earlier success in the comedy-horror genre.
The story follows Arjun Acharya, a financially struggling man who inherits his ancestral palace, Acharya Niwas, in the remote town of Mangalpur. Hoping to turn his fortunes around, he decides to host his sister’s long-delayed wedding at the mansion.
However, the town is overshadowed by a mysterious curse, which Arjun initially dismisses as superstition.
As wedding preparations begin, strange and increasingly sinister events unfold inside the palace, forcing Arjun to confront a dark and powerful force tied to his family’s past.
The film also features a strong supporting cast, including Paresh Rawal, Tabu, Rajpal Yadav, Mithila Palkar and Wamiqa Gabbi.
