An eight-year-old cricket fan sent a letter of support for Pakistani skipper Babar Azam that has melted hearts on social media.
A journalist, Alina Shigri, shared a handwritten letter from Mohammad Haroon Suria, an eight-year-old cricket enthusiast to the Pakistan cricketer.
The child sent his best wishes to the Pakistan cricket team for the World Cup, saying he wishes to be captain one day. He also requested captain Babar Azam and the entire cricket team to send their autographs to his residence.
Babar Azam replied to the tweet and thanked the young fan for his support. He also assured the ‘future captain’ to send him the team’s autographs.

“The Champion speaks! That is how you win hearts.” said the journalist Aline Shigri, who posted the original tweet and has also been praised for making the child’s dream come true.
