Modern technology and automated systems can sometimes become more of a headache than a convenience. A bizarre incident recently took place on Gulberg Road in Faisalabad, where a man who entered an ATM booth to withdraw cash ended up trapped inside for two hours, with no way to get out.
According to details, a citizen named Mohsin entered a private bank’s ATM booth on Gulberg Road, Faisalabad, to withdraw money. After entering, he locked the first door from the inside as a routine security measure.
He calmly withdrew the required cash from the ATM. However, when he tried to unlock the door afterward, the locking mechanism suddenly malfunctioned, leaving him unable to open it.

The technical fault in the door’s locking system kept Mohsin trapped inside the ATM booth for two hours. Worried about the situation, he immediately contacted the bank’s helpline and informed them that he was locked inside. However, the response he reportedly received was disappointing: he was advised to wait until morning for assistance.
When no immediate help arrived, people who had gathered outside took matters into their own hands. They broke open the door and safely freed Mohsin after his two-hour ordeal.
After getting out, the frustrated citizen recorded a video describing his unusual experience and uploaded it to social media. The video is now reportedly going viral.
