LAHORE: In a major breakthrough in the ongoing high-profile Anmol ‘Pinky’ case, the Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) has apprehended two key kingpins operating within Punjab.
According to highly placed sources, the latest arrests are expected to unravel the deeper tentacles of an international narcotics syndicate supplying premium contraband across Pakistan’s major metropolitan elites.
Sources privy to the development revealed that both individuals arrested by the ANF are foreign nationals, identified as Nigerian citizens. The suspects were reportedly running a core operational cell closely integrated with the infamous Anmol Pinky network, responsible for trafficking high-grade cocaine to private parties and high-profile clients.
The operation was executed following a detailed digital forensic breakdown of the mobile phone belonging to the primary suspect, Anmol Pinky.
ANF confirmed that, data logs, encrypted chat transcripts, and financial transaction records retrieved from Pinky’s phone provided precise intelligence on the operational whereabouts of these foreign cartel members. The scope of the investigation has now been widened significantly across Punjab.”
The two arrested Nigerian nationals are currently being interrogated at an undisclosed facility. Initial findings indicate that they acted as primary bulk suppliers and facilitators for the distribution network in Lahore, mixing raw cartels with chemical additives to feed the local illicit market.
Following these high-profile arrests, ANF and allied intelligence agencies are planning further targeted operations across Lahore, Islamabad, and Karachi to dismantle the remaining remnants of Anmol Pinky’s network. More arrests, including prominent local facilitators and beneficiaries, are anticipated in the coming days.
