Angela Merkel invites PM Khan to visit Germany in Davos
DAVOS: Prime Minister Imran Khan held an informal meeting on Thursday at the sidelines of the World Economic Forum 2020 with German Chancellor Angela Merkel in Davos, Switzerland.
During the informal meeting, Angela Merkel invited Imran Khan to visit Germany. Prime Minister Imran Khan also met with President EU Parliament David Sassoli in Davos on Thursday, according to sources.

Sources further said that during the meeting with David Sassoli issues related to GSP-Plus (Generalized System of Preferences) were also discussed between two.
Prime Minister Imran Khan also called on Coca-Cola Company Chairman and Chief Executive Officer James Quincey on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum 2020 in Davos, Switzerland. PM Imran emphasized on green technology that is environment-friendly in line with the “Clean & Green Pakistan” policy.

The meeting was also attended by Finance Adviser Dr Abdul Hafeez Sheik, Special Assistant to PM Syed Zulfiqar Abbas Bukhari, Ali Jehangir Siddiqui and the Permanent Representative of Pakistan to the United Nations at Geneva Khalil Hashmi were also present.
