After Momina Iqbal and Tuba Anwar, Aruba Mirza accuses Saqib Chadhar of harassment

Following Momina Iqbal, and Tuba Anwar’s allegations, actress Aruba Mirza has accused Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Member of the Punjab Assembly (MPA) Saqib Chadhar of sending her repeated unsolicited messages, becoming the latest actress to level allegations against the lawmaker.

Mirza shared screenshots on her Instagram Stories that she claimed were messages sent by Chadhar through Instagram.

According to the screenshots, the MPA allegedly made repeated attempts to contact the actress and requested that their conversation continue on Snapchat.

Her allegations come after similar claims were made by actresses Momina Iqbal and Tuba Anwar.

Earlier, actress Momina Iqbal filed a cyber-harassment case against Saqib Chadhar under Pakistan’s Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act (PECA). She alleged that the lawmaker subjected her to prolonged online harassment, cyberbullying, mental distress, blackmail, and death threats after she rejected his marriage proposal.

Investigators from the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) recently informed a Lahore court that their investigation found sufficient evidence to hold Chadhar culpable of harassment. The case remains under legal proceedings.

Separately, actress Tuba Anwar also accused the Punjab lawmaker of inappropriate conduct, alleging that he offered to gift her an iPhone.

Saqib Chadhar has not publicly responded to Aruba Mirza’s latest allegations at the time of publication.
