A trailer of ‘Rawalpindi Express’, a biopic on the legendary bowler Shoaib Akhtar, has finally been released amid controversy and resistance from Shoaib Akhtar himself.
Biopic based on Shoaib Akhtar was in works and a year ago, it was announced that the film will star Umair Jaswal as Rawalpindi Express.
Things however, went downhill as first Umair Jaswal and then Shoaib Akhtar parted ways with the team over creative differences. However, it looks like the movie will still be released and Shoaib’s role will be played by Gohar Rasheed. The movie also includes Faran Tahir and Marhoom Ahmad Bilal.
