ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Shahid Khaqan Abbasi has said that the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has paralyzed the country.
While talking to media outside the accountability court, Shahid Khaqan Abbasi said that they could not be able to prove any allegation against him despite being six months.
Abbasi also claimed that NAB was pressurizing his friends and family members.
Abbasi held the incumbent government accountable for the NAB’s action against the political leaders by saying the state was using the bureau for political revenge.
Such behaviour has not only destroyed the country but also the economy, he added.
Abbasi during his three-day visit to Karachi that he attended last week said that there was no democracy but a dictatorship in the country.
While expressing that his party wanted prosperity, not power, he said that we only wanted fair elections in Pakistan.
Abbasi said that the country was facing several internal challenges today. The prices of wheat and sugar have increased tremendously, he added.
