Gold prices in Pakistan saw an increase of Rs2,200 per tola on Friday, reflecting the rise in international gold rates. In the local market, the price of gold per tola reached Rs276,900.
Similarly, the price of 10-gram gold rose by Rs1,886, settling at Rs237,397, according to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
On Thursday, gold prices had also climbed by Rs1,100, reaching Rs274,700 per tola.
International gold prices surged on Friday, with the rate rising to $2,657 per ounce (plus a $20 premium), marking an increase of $22 throughout the day, as per APGJSA.
Meanwhile, silver prices remained stable at Rs3,350 per tola.
