KARACHI: Anti-Corruption Establishment Court has turned down the case filed by ANti-Corruption Establishment Officers against Secretary Municipality Roshan Ali Sheikh in the fake tenders today.
During today’s hearing, the court raised questions on the overall performance of the Sindh government’s anti-bribery department.
The court has ordered action against the officers who filed a case against Roshan Ali Sheikh. The court, while giving remarks, said that whoever made the report twice against corruption, you have made a case against him. Anti-corruption officers were damaging officers’ reputation and reputation by making fake cases.
Secretary Municipality Roshan Ali Sheikh has twice investigated the issuance of fake tenders in Illegal Development Karachi (KDA) and ordered that the fake tenders be stopped and legalized tenders.
The Anti-Corruption Court ordered action against the Deputy Director and Inquiry Officer and acquitted the officers, including Roshan Ali Sheikh, from the case. Municipality subjected to retaliation.
Not only an FIR was lodged against Roshan Sheikh but also a press release was issued to the media, revealing him a serious corrupt officer which damaged his reputation. He is reportedly consulting with his friends and lawyers to sue for anti-corruption for damaging his reputation.
