KARACHI: A Pakistani Hindu girl Pushpa Kohli has become the first police officer from her community in Sindh province. she has been was posted as Assistant Sub Inspector (ASI) in the province.
Pushpa Kohli has been posted as ASI after she passed the provincial competitive examination taken by hundreds of other candidates.
The human rights activist Kapil Dev shared the news late on Tuesday in a post on Twitter. Kolhi is the first woman from the Hindu community to join the provincial police force as ASI.

Earlier in January, Suman Pawan Bodani became Pakistan’s first female judge belonging to the Hindu community. Bodani, who hails from the Shahdadkot area in Sindh, stood 54th in the merit list for the appointment of civil judge/judicial magistrate.
People on Twitter also hailed Pushpa’s victory as she qualified the provincial competitive examination and became a first police officer from her community.
