KARACHI: An increase has been recorded in the prices of gold across local bullion markets in Pakistan, whereas a significant decline has been witnessed in the value of silver.
According to the All Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Association, on Thursday, October 8, 2026, the price of 24-karat gold per tola increased by Rs 600, reaching Rs 435,036.
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold rose by Rs 515, settling at Rs 372,973 in the sarafa market.
Meanwhile, the downward trend in silver prices continued in Pakistan today, with the per tola price of silver falling by Rs 120 to stand at Rs 6,368.
On the international front, an increase of $6 was recorded in the global price of gold, pushing the per ounce rate to trade at $4,125.
