KARACHI: Fresh foreign exchange rates for October 3 were released, with the US dollar trading near Rs278 in Pakistan’s open market.
According to the latest rates, the US dollar is being bought at Rs277.90 and sold at Rs278.10 in the open market.
The euro is being bought at Rs312.48 and sold at Rs319.10, while the British pound is being bought at Rs366.98 and sold at Rs372.73.
The Saudi riyal stands at Rs74.05 for buying and Rs74.60 for selling, while the UAE dirham is being bought at Rs75.75 and sold at Rs76.60.
The Chinese yuan is quoted at Rs38.30 for buying and Rs38.92 for selling. The Canadian dollar is being bought at Rs193.93 and sold at Rs199.25, while the Australian dollar is quoted at Rs192.22 for buying and Rs198.05 for selling.
The Japanese yen is being bought at Rs1.7342 and sold at Rs1.8339.
In the interbank market, the US dollar is being bought at Rs277.00 and sold at Rs277.50. The euro is quoted at Rs311.72 for buying and Rs312.29 for selling, while the British pound stands at Rs365.94 for buying and Rs366.60 for selling.
