A major reshuffle in the Sindh cabinet is expected, which has been approved by the leadership of the Pakistan People’s Party, as reported by national media on Friday.
According to reports, some key ministers may be removed from their departments. Senior party leaders and key cabinet members have been summoned to the Chief Minister’s House for consultation.
Sources said that after the changes in the cabinet, new ministers will take oath at the Governor’s House.
Important ministers have also been sent messages from the Chief Minister’s House in this regard so that the process of cabinet reorganization can be completed in the coming days.
Regarding the reshuffle in the Sindh cabinet, it has also been decided that various ministers and leaders will hold meetings with the Chief Minister, including Saeed Ghani, Jam Khan Shoro, and Ismail Rahu.
Sindh’s Minister for Labour, Shahid Thaheem, has been decided to be removed from the ministry. It is likely that Ismail Rahu, a member of the Provincial Assembly elected from Badin, will become a provincial minister.
It has been decided to withdraw the Sindh Local Government Department from Saeed Ghani. Jam Khan Shoro will be given the additional portfolio of Planning and Development.
