Syed Jan Ali Rizvi, 30, was a famous Pakistani Naat and Manqbat Khwaans, belonging to the Shia community of Gilgit Baltistan.

He succumbed to his injuries yesterday after a fatal traffic accident in interior Sindh.

As per media reports, he was on his way to Karachi from Khairpure, after attending a religious gathering,  when his car had an accident in Sehwan.

Renowned Naat and Manqbat Khwaans of Gilgit-Baltistan Khawaja Ali and Zain Turabi were also in the car and all three passengers died.

The incident occurred near Manjhand when the vehicle carrying Kazim, Syed Jan Ali Rizvi, and Zain Turabi met with a fatal collision while traveling to Karachi.

The three performers were returning from Anjuman Haideri Khairpur, where they had participated in the annual celebration of Imam-e-Zamana.

Local authorities confirmed the accident took place on the highway near Sehwan Sharif, though specific details about the collision remain under investigation.

The news sparked an outpouring of condolences from followers and fellow artists across Pakistan’s religious poetry community.

According to the preliminary report, the incident was not caused by an air-conditioner compressor explosion or an electrical short circuit. Instead, the fire reportedly broke out after a nebulizer attached to an incubator, used to monitor oxygen levels, exploded.
