ISLAMABAD: Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has decided to contest the election as a candidate to become a member of the National Assembly from Rahim Yar Khan.
According to the details, the PPP Chairman decided to contest the election from Rahim Yar Khan at the invitation of PPP South Punjab President and former Punjab Governor Ahmed Mehmood.
Some media reports said that Chairman PPP Bilawal Bhutto Zardari will announce his candidacy against Rahim Yar Khan along with the election schedule. Former President Asif Zardari supported the decision.

Earlier, other leaders including Makhdoom Ahmed Mehmood, Maulana Hamid Saeed Kazmi, and Qutub Fareed Koreja were elected as members of the National Assembly from Rahim Yar Khan.
It should be noted that earlier the Chairman of the People’s Party and Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said that nations who forget their martyrs have no one to take their names in history.
Zardari, in his video message on May 25 on the occasion of Martyrs Day, said that every patriotic Pakistani considers it his duty to love those who were martyred in the love of their soil.
