Israeli influencer Eve Cohen posted an emotional video in which she is seen crying after her house was damaged in a recent attack, following an earlier video where she mocked the suffering of people in Gaza. In the emotional video, she also condemned the Iranian attacks.
As soon as the video was posted on social media, a large number of people immediately pointed out the influencer’s double standards and reminded viewers of her old videos in which she used to mock the destroyed homes of Palestinians in Gaza — and now the same has happened to her.
In the past, the said influencer had dramatically spoken to the camera with makeup simulating injury marks. At the cue of a voice saying “cut” in the background, she threw a fruit and applause followed — a performance that outraged many Palestinians.
However, a social media post suggests that the person speaking in the video is not the same throughout; the person on the left speaks Persian, indicating the video was filmed in Iran. This contradicts the claim that it features an Israeli influencer facing poetic justice. Ironically, the person shown appears to be a victim of Israeli airstrikes.
It is worth noting that over 50,000 Palestinians have been killed in Israel’s recent military operations. According to the United Nations, nearly 50,000 pregnant women in the besieged Gaza Strip have been deprived of prenatal care due to the war situation.
