Plot
Executive produced by the Russo Brothers, the futuristic action series tells the story of two secret agents (played by Madden and Chopra) who, after having their memory wiped by, find a way to remember their past and fight against a powerful crime syndicate.

How many episodes of Citadel are there?
The first season of ‘Citadel’ consists of six episodes in total, with the first two installments premiering on April 28 on Prime Video. A new episode will air every following Friday, with the finale arriving on May 26.

The show was reported to have done about 25 million viewers for its premiere, which would indeed make it Prime’s biggest debut since Rings of Power, the also-insanely expensive Lord of the Rings series on Amazon.
Will there be a season 2?
Citadel was renewed for a second season long before the first season had even premiered. Prime Video has invested an almost historic amount of money into this series, just like their other record-breaking, excessively expensive original series, The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power.
