The release date of the upcoming Bollywood movie ‘Shehzada’ featuring Kartik Aaryan has been postponed the release date out of respect to Shah Rukh Khan’s film ‘Pathaan’.
Amidst the record-breaking box office response of Pathaan, the makers of film Shehzada have decided to push forward the release date i.e is now February 17, 2023. Besides Kartik Aaryan, the movie also features Kriti Sanon, Manisha Koirala, Paresh Rawal, Ronit Roy, Sachin Khedekar, and Rajpal Yadav.
Shehzada is a Hindi adaptation of Allu Arjun’s 2020 Telugu film ‘Ala Vaikunthapuramuloo’ which also starred Tabu in a vital role. In this regards, Kartik has hoped that the movie will turn out to be bigger than his blockbuster film Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2.

“I hope Shehzada is a bigger hit than Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2. I hope it entertains the audience. I want more and more people to watch Shehzada. Fingers crossed. I hope Shehzada does well. Our industry needs it, he said. According to Aryan, the film is a family entertainer, which the audience sees in huge numbers.
On the work front, Aryan was last seen in the psychological thriller film ‘Freddy’. Alongside Alaya F. Freddy premiered on 2 December 2022 on Disney+Hotstar. The film received positive reviews from critics and audiences alike with praise towards the performances, particularly that of Aaryan terming it as his career best, and the screenplay.
