ISLAMABAD: Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf and former Prime Minister Imran Khan will hold a meeting of the central leadership of PTI today, in which the political situation of the country and the government’s actions against the party will be discussed.
According to the details, after the arrest of Shahbaz Gill, the main PTI leader from Punjab, Imran Khan has directed the central leadership as well as the leadership of Punjab to attend the meeting.
Punjab Interior Minister Hashim Dogar, former Governor Umar Sarfraz Cheema, former Federal Education Minister Shafqat Mehmood, Ejaz Chaudhry, Mian Mehmood-ul-Rashid, and Dr. Yasmin Rashid will also participate in the meeting chaired by Imran Khan.

Other important leaders of Punjab were also invited to attend the meeting through a video link from Lahore. Tehreek-e-Insaf will hold a meeting in Lahore instead of Islamabad on August 13, the arrangements of which are also expected to be negotiated.
It should be noted that this will be the first important meeting of PTI since the arrest of Shahbaz Gill yesterday, while former Interior Minister Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed has also accused the government of sending 4 police cars and personnel to arrest him.
