KARACHI: A three-story building collapsed in Karachi’s Buzarta Line, Chandi Chowk, causing panic in the area.
According to details, a three-storey building near Buzrata Line Chandi Chowk in Saddar area of Karachi collapsed with a loud explosion which spread fear among the residents of the area.
After the building collapsed, Edhi’s volunteers arrived at the scene. For a long time, dust was seen rising from the rubble of the collapsed building in the surrounding streets.
According to rescue sources, fortunately, there were no occupants in the collapsed building while no casualties were reported in the incident.
This is not the first case of a high-rise building collapsing in Karachi, while several buildings have already collapsed due to poor construction materials.

It may be recalled that earlier, two women were killed when a three-storey building collapsed in PIB Colony area of Karachi while several others were buried under the rubble.
Two women lost their lives when a collapsed building in PIB woke up on a nearby building two months ago today. Three people, including a child, were also injured.
