RAWALPINDI: A 55-year-old woman was injured on Thursday after Indian troops once again resorted to unprovoked firing at the Line of Control (LoC).
According to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Indian Army troops initiated an unprovoked ceasefire violation in the Hotspring sector along the Line of Control targeting the civil population.
The military’s media wing informed that one woman sustained injuries in the firing incident. In this regard, the Pakistani Army responded effectively to the Indian shelling and targeted the Indian post along the LoC.
Earlier on Wednesday, two Pakistani soldiers were martyred when Indian troops initiated ceasefire violations in the Khuiratta Sector along the Line of Control.
Indian forces along the LoC and the Working Boundary (WB) have been continuously targeting civilian populated areas with artillery fire, heavy-caliber mortars, and automatic weapons.
Meanwhile, the Pakistan Army has been put on high alert after credible reports that India is planning a false flag operation against Pakistan in a bid to divert attention from internal policies.
According to credible sources, India is preparing for an attack on the Line of Control (LoC) and on the Working Boundary in order to disturb peace in the region and divert attention from its internal politics.
