Woman arrested in Karachi for ‘motorcycle theft’

A woman has been arrested in Karachi for her alleged involvement in a motorcycle theft ring, while her husband remains absconding, police said.

According to Karachi Police, acting on a tip-off, officers conducted a raid in the Soldier Bazaar area and arrested the suspect, identified as Sehar Batool, for her alleged role in motorcycle theft.

Police said the arrest was made with the help of CCTV footage, which linked the suspect to the case.

Investigators further alleged that Sehar Batool and her husband were involved in dozens of motorcycle theft incidents across the city.

Efforts are currently underway to apprehend the absconding suspect and continue the investigation.
