Instagram, for some unknown reasons, has removed Pakistan’s youngest vlogger, Muhammad Shiraz’s account with 2.1 million followers from the platform.
Six-year-old Shiraz, from Gilgit-Baltistan, had gained recognition as a unique ambassador for the region, showcasing its natural beauty while highlighting the daily challenges faced by locals, including limited internet access.
A Grade 1 student, Shiraz actively shared his daily life on YouTube, Facebook, and Instagram, offering a glimpse into the raw village lifestyle of the picturesque northern region bordering China.

In a video posted on his YouTube channel, Shirazi Village Vlogs, which has 1.76 million subscribers, his father, Muhammad Taqi, announced the news, expressing deep distress over the account’s suspension. He revealed that the account was taken down without prior warning.

Taqi explained that he received an email around 1 AM on January 27 informing him of the suspension. However, after submitting an appeal, the account disappeared entirely.
Stressing the financial consequences, Taqi said that Instagram was their primary source of income through paid promotions. “Instagram was extremely important for us,” he said.
