KARACHI: The attention of entire local as well as international media was grabbed the other day by a startling revelation made by a person who claimed to be spokesperson for PMLN in London.

Tasneem Haider Shah, who said he had been associated with PMLN for 20 years and serving as party spokesperson for last 5 years, alleged that the plan to kill Arshad Sharif and Imran Khan was prepared in London under the leadership of Nawaz Sharif. He went on to allege that he attended 3 such meetings in which plot to kill Arshad Sharif and Imran Khan were discussed.

Soon after these revelations, media gurus as well as commoners stormed internet to dig out facts about Tasneem Haider Shah.
Tasneem Haider Shah hails from Pakistan’s Gujrat and claims to be the Chairman of “Anjuman-e-Sadaat”, a worldwide organization. In response to media queries, he admitted that a case has been registered against him in Gujrat but, he claimed, the FIR was based on a fake story fabricated by Chaudhry Wajahat.

Interestingly, his pictures are available on social media with not only leaders of PMLN, but with PTI leaders as well.

Despite claims by PMLN leaders and federal information minister that Shah had no links with their party, his pictures with a number of PMLN leaders also went viral and made rounds on internet soon after his press talk.

Although Tasneem Haider Shah claims that he has already submitted necessary documents related to assassination plots to London Police, and that he has also sought protection for himself after making such revelations, it remains to be seen as to how things move forward.
