KARACHI: One of the most leading messaging services, WhatsApp is introducing an alert to inform users about the ability to forward media with a caption. The new feature is rolling out by way of a new update through the Google Play Beta Program, bringing the version up to 2.23.2.2.

The ‘alert’ will be in the form of a message, and will show up on the screen when an image, video, GIF, or document, is being forwarded with a caption.

As seen above, user will see a message when media in the form of an image, video, GIF, or document, is being forwarded with a caption. “Media and captions are now forwarded together. You can always remove the caption before you forward,” is the message you will see when using the feature.
