An increase in oil and gas production has been recorded on a weekly basis in the country, as reported by national media.
According to PPIS and Topline Securities, in the week ending April 16, the country’s average daily crude oil production was recorded at 58,714 barrels, which is 4% higher compared to the previous week. In the previous week, the average daily crude oil production in the country was recorded at 56,538 barrels.
Similarly, in the week ending April 16, the average daily gas production was recorded at 2,669 MMCFD, which is 4% higher than the previous week. In the previous week, the average daily gas production in the country was recorded at 2,571 MMCFD.
According to the data, in the week ending April 16, the average daily crude oil production of OGDCL was 28,562 barrels, PPL was 8,779 barrels, Mari Gas was 1,034 barrels, and POL was 3,513 barrels.
Similarly, in the week ending April 16, the average daily gas production of OGDCL was 546 MMCFD, PPL was 485 MMCFD, Mari Gas was 822 MMCFD, and POL’s average daily production was recorded at 47 MMCFD.
