Former Pakistan cricket captain Wasim Akram and his wife, Shaniera Akram, have appealed to the public for help after their pet dog, Duke, went missing in Karachi.
The family shared the urgent notice via their official Instagram accounts, offering a cash reward of Rs. 250,000 for information leading to his safe recovery.
According to Ms Akram, Duke was last seen in DHA Phase 8 on Sunday. The dog is reportedly 5-month-old black German Shepherd.
Meanwhile, a formal missing complaint has been lodged, and local police have begun search efforts. Shaniera Akram expressed deep concern that the puppy might be frightened and devastated by his absence.
She urged local residents of DHA Phase 8 and surrounding areas to check their immediate environments, including parks, streets, rooftops, and garages.
