RAWALPINDI: Leader of Awami Muslim League and former Federal Interior Minister Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed has said that the upcoming days will be the day of reckoning and accountability and before the doomsday, the political doomsday will break on the government.

In a tweet, his message on Twitter, Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed said that the loan was given when the guest actors’ game was about to end and it was the last day of the contract. According to him, they had no plan.

The head of Awami Muslim League said that Saudi Arabia and UAE gave $3 billion at the request of someone else, and no one gives $5 in charity at their request. “Shehbaz Sharif is out on a speech contest, giving half a dozen speeches a day and taking half a dozen pictures, but the result in 15 months is only the first tranche of $1 billion to the IMF,” he tweeted.

He said that the world and the IMF respect the voice of the people, the main reason for the 3 tranches of the loan is to ensure the election, electricity, and gas are expensive and the subsidy is over, the burden of inflation will increase on the poor, the economy is on oxygen tent. There is no export, no remittance, factories are not running, growth is zero, overseas are angry, and payments have become 6 times more than Pakistan’s foreign exchange reserves.

The former federal minister further said that Zardari is keeping silent. “Bilawal’s American pilgrimage is not being mentioned, and Fazlur Rehman is also disgusted, he says that it is not politics that has saved the state, although he has accused himself of corruption and money laundering,” he added.
