RAWALPINDI: The Pakistan Army Public Relations (ISPR) has said that two terrorists have been killed during an operation in the Thal area of North Waziristan.
According to details, security forces conducted an operation in North Waziristan on the basis of intelligence. The terrorists started armed clash as soon as they came to know about the presence of guards. Two terrorists were killed in an exchange of fire with the forces.
According to ISPR, the slain terrorists were identified as Ghayoor and Bahauddin, who were wanted by the security forces for serious offenses such as operations, targeted killings, and kidnapping for ransom.
It may be recalled that earlier in North Waziristan, a young man of the security forces was injured as a result of firing by terrorists from the Afghan border. A Pakistan Army spokesman (DG, ISPR) condemned the cowardly attack.
According to the Public Relations Department (ISPR), in August last year, terrorists opened fire on a Pakistani military post in the Dewagar area of North Waziristan District from the Afghan border, injuring a young man. The Pakistan Army responded effectively to the terrorists.
