WASHINGTON: Three people, including two girls, have been killed and six others were injured in a school shooting in the US state of Michigan. The shooting was carried out by a 15-year-old student.
According to the details, 3 students of the institution lost their lives due to the firing of a 15-year-old student in a high school in Michigan. Authorities say the student who fired was identified as a Sophomore, who used a semi-automatic rifle.

The French news agency (AFP) reported from Michigan High School last night that a 15-year-old student opened fire at Oxford High School and later surrendered. The suspect was taken into custody.
Among the injured was a teacher and in this regard, police said that the assailant was arrested and a handgun was recovered from his possession. An investigation is underway to find out the reasons behind the firing of the accused.
The dead included a 14-year-old girl, a 16-year-old boy, and a 17-year-old student. All three victims were students. The incident took place on Tuesday afternoon. The teenage student opened fire on 11 people in just 5 minutes, killing three of his classmates. Authorities said that they are investigating the arrested student to determine the cause of the shooting.
