QUETTA: Two Pakistan Army officers were martyred on Thursday during a terrorist attack in Pasni, Balochistan.
According to Inter-Services Public Relations, the terrorists targeted security forces using an IED in Khuda Bux Bazar near Pasni. An officer Captain Affan Masood and Sepoy Babar Zaman embraced martyrdom in the terror incident. It added that a search operation is in progress to apprehend the perpetrators.
“Such cowardly acts by inimical elements, backed by hostile intelligence agencies (HIAs) cannot sabotage the hard earned peace and prosperity in Balochistan. Security forces are determined to neutralize such nefarious designs at all costs,” the military’s press wing said.
On June 25, five personnel of the Frontier Corps (FC) were martyred on Friday in a terrorist attack in Sangan area of Sibi district in Balochistan. The he terrorists targeted the Frontier Corps patrolling in Sangan, District Sibi.
“During the exchange of fire heavy losses were inflicted on to the terrorists in men and materials,” the military’s media wing had said in a statement. It added that five brave soldiers of the Frontier Corps embraced martyrdom in the incident.
The martyred soldiers were identified as Havaldar Zafar Ali Khan and Lance Naik Hidayatullah, both residents of Lakki Marwat, Lance Naik Nasir Abbas, a resident of Bhakkar, Lance Naik Basheer Ahmed, a resident of Naseerabad, and Sepoy Noor Ullah, a resident of Lakki Marwat.
