Two officers illegally posted in KDA’s Engineering Department

KARACHI: Two officers allegedly rejected by the Engineering Council of Pakistan were illegally posted in the Engineering Department of Karachi Development Authority (KDA).

According to details, the two officials were identified as Abdul Manan and Tariq Rafi. Sources have informed that the two rejected officials are involved in bogus billing alleged corruption of billions of rupees.

Sources prior to the development informed that KDA Engineering Department Director Mehboob Alam had allegedly patronized the posting of Abdul Manan and Tariq Rafi in the department.

Meanwhile, sources in the Engineering Council of Pakistan have informed that the council had rejected the applications of Abdul Manan and Tariq Rafi, filed for obtaining a Certified Engineer’s License.

Both the accused are also receiving tenders despite having a license. Sources claimed that Chief Engineer KDA Mubeen Siddiqui also received a huge bribe in this regard.
