RAWALPINDI: At least two more civilians have sustained serious injuries today due to the Indian army’s unprovoked firing along the Line of Control (LoC).
According to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the incident of unprovoked firing took place in Nikial Sector along the LOC. The Indian troops deliberately targeted the civilian population in the area.
The ISPR in a tweet confirmed, “Due to indiscriminate fire of Indian artillery at Mohra village, two civilians including 18 years old girl sustained serious injuries.”

In the last 24 hours, six citizens including two girls have been injured and relocated to nearby health facilities for necessary medical care.
Earlier today, Indian troops resorted to unprovoked firing at Sharda, Dhudnial, and Shahkot Sectors along LOC. As per ISPR, four innocent civilians including a 15-year-old girl sustained serious injuries.
On Thursday, the Pakistan Army shot down an Indian spy drone in Sankh Sector along the LoC for violating airspace. A drone had entered six metres into Pakistani airspace for spying. The army troops responded aggressively to this blatant act by shooting down the Indian spy drone.
