One of Shah Faisal’s oldest joints, Mughlai Parathas are pure nostalgia. Crispy, flaky, pan-fried and a one-dish delicious meal. This chicken Mughlai paratha is stuffed with egg and BBQ chicken.
Talking to M.M News, the owner of the Bihari Kebab House, Kamran, informed that this dish belongs to Saudi Arabia and he learned to make it there. “In Saudi Arabia, Mughal parathas are filled with vegetables, while here we use a mix-up of eggs and chicken BBQ,” he said.
Giving details about how the parathas are made, Kamran said that first of fall BBQ is prepared. “The chicken is then mixed with eggs, and that mixture is then filled into the pratha and then we fried it,” he added.
“We’ve been making Mughlai Parathas for the past 22 years. At that time, it cost was Rs10, while today it costs Rs180,” he added. Meanwhile, they also serve a spicy sauce and ketchup with that spectacular dish.
